These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Gameset website at gameset.gr and the Gameset mobile application (the “Service”), provided by Gameset, a company based in Greece (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Gameset is a community platform for real‑world recreational sports. We help athletes find and organise matches, track results, and compete in ranked play, and we help venue owners manage their facilities.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By using the Service you confirm you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
When using the Service, you agree not to:
You retain ownership of content you post (messages, photos, team names, etc.). By posting, you grant us a worldwide, non‑exclusive, royalty‑free license to host, display, and adapt that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you post.
Recreational sports involve risk of injury. Gameset is a coordination platform; we do not organise, supervise, or coach matches. By participating in any match arranged through the Service you accept the inherent risks of physical activity, and you agree that Gameset is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damage to property arising from your participation.
Matches take place at third‑party venues we do not own or operate. Venue conditions (surface quality, equipment, scheduling, refunds, weather) are the responsibility of the venue and the players. Gameset is not a party to any reservation contract between you and a venue.
During Phase 1 (initial launch), the Service does not collect payments directly from athletes. Payments to venues are arranged outside the Service. We will introduce in‑app payments in later phases and update these Terms accordingly.
The Service, including its design, code, logos, badges, and trademarks (Gameset and related marks), is owned by Gameset and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding without written permission.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months or (b) one hundred euros (€100). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including for damage caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gameset and its affiliates, employees, and contractors from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access for material violations of these Terms, applicable law, or to protect the Service and its users. On termination, sections that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days’ notice in the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles. The courts of Athens, Greece have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
